This recording will transport you back in time to a weekend in Portland, Oregon, November 15 & 16, 1963. These are the pivotal recording sessions by the infamous Kingsmen. This collection features 11 different versions of the song as performed by a wide variety of Northwest artists. Recordings featured go from 1963 by The Kingsmen to 1989 by the University of Washington Husky Marching Band. The last known recordings of the famed group, circa 1966-68. Features two version of their mini-hit, “Anyway The Wind Blows”. An era ended when the original group broke up.
